    VX2260vm Native resolution

Hi all,I have a win 7 64bit, with vtx3d 5770 gfx card. Output via HDMI to a Viewsonic VX2260vm. I have just loaded the latest drivers from vtx3d. As in the previous two releases, the resolution to fill the screen is 1680x1050. If I set the resolution atr the native 1920x1080, it has a black border all round. I have looked for the viewsonic drivers, but can't find them. Any ideas please?

    Thanks

Use DVI instead. There is no difference spec-wise between DVI and HDMI other than audio over HDMI. DVI also doesn't seem to have the scaling problems that HDMI does when connecting to a computer (happens on both Nvidia and ATI cards). They tend to see a monitor as a TV instead of a monitor when connected via HDMI, which from what I have seen is the cause of the scaling issue.

Also is it vw or wm? Can't find anything at Viewsonic of vw but there is a wm,

    Viewsonic » VX2260wm 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor

and from looking at it the HDMI port is more for DVD players or game consoles than connecting to a computer.
