    Large Font on System Resume

This just started happening recently but when System Resume starts the screen is extremely large. My login screen only shows the tip of my login icon. It some what resembles "Safe Mode" only larger.

    Anyone else have this issue?

I think that it's a graphic card related. What is the resolution of the screen when System Resume Starts?

Download your drivers for your graphics card...

Yeah, that's probably that... I wanted to check the resolution to see if it was the text of the icons and header. If not, I would said the drivers...

It seems like he said that the whole res was out of whack. He said only a corner of the Icon was visible, and everything was huge. That means res, though he said font in the title....

It was the resolution. I thought it was strange because it had never happened before and then on the same day it happened to both my wife and I's computer. I will look into the drivers. It is an ATI x1400 driver which is only suppose to be supported by dell. My concern is that it wont be W7 compatible.

Most things are, and if it is under 4 years old, I would bet it is. Worst case is that is doesn't work, and you could go get a new card for under $50 that would work.

I am hoping it is just an isolated instance. Other than that one time I have not had any issues. It had been running fine but then one day both my wife's toshiba and my dell laptop had the same issue. Both of us are running different video cards as well.
