    Win7 Nvidia 9800 GTX+ Hardware Acceleration issues.

I need to change the hardware acceleration settings, but when I go to advanced display settings trouble shoot tab the button is shaded grey and unclickable. I've updated to the latest driver and cannot find the settings in the Nvidia Control Panel to change the hardware acceleration.

    Can anyone help out?

Can you please tell us why you would like to disable that? I'm guessing it's unnecessary for whatever you're trying to accomplish by doing that.

I am trying to play Ys: I and II Complete and there are a few graphical glitches like discoloration and pixelated colors where effects should be, etc. etc. I tried many other things, but nothing worked. I found that this is a usual fix for those problems.

Start menu> control panel> nvidia control panel>manage 3d settings> program settings> check the box show only programs on this computer> drop down menu> you can turn off a mired of settings in the drop down menu to allow the game to play more smoothly. You can also turn off phyx which will allow your card to not have to work as hard. Even so I didn't see a setting that allows you to turn off hardware acceleration. Most of the time this controled by the game or application. Hope this will help.
Aslo would you please go to your user CP top of page and fill in your system specs. Without knowing what your hardware is it makes it hard to diagnois your problem now or in the future. Thank you and welcome to seven forums.

I'd like to know how to do this as well, but not sure if it'll fix the problem I'm having.

Issue: Since installing Windows 7 this week, I can not get VoIP working in a game(Battlefield 2). I enable it in audio options, but as soon as I join a server I check the options and it appears to have disabled itself. I've never had this problem with XP. I've tried many solutions, and the latest I've heard was to try and lower hardware acceleration for my video card(why they're related I'm not sure), but however I can't figure out how to do that as it's greyed out in the Troubleshooting tab and I can't figure out how to do it in nVidia Control Panel.

Hoping someone can help. Here are my basic specs:

    Athlon X2 4800+
    4GB DDR2 memory
    nVidia Geforce 8800GTS
    Windows 7 64bit
