    Question about my graphic memory! HELP!!!


    okay i have a question : i have 64mb dedicated memory and 1631mb shared memory. can i play games like gta iv,just cause 2,battlefield,MW2 etc.?

    Well, the games you mention will "run"; how well is questionable?

    For future reference, you have an HD 4570, which meets the minimum requirements of the games you listed, but, know in advance that it's a budget/low end card, so high settings are not going to be an option with new titles.

    Also, you know how it goes with that whole, "game experience may change" clause that developers are fond of... patches usually bring greater demands.

    I can tell you that Bad Company 2 is more demanding than when first released, which is making dual core guys none too happy.

    That's not what I said. It will run the games you mentioned, just don't expect to be able to run them at high settings.

    Laptops just aren't made for hardcore gaming. If you want to run modern games at high resolutions with high settings, then you should build yourself a gaming machine because a laptop is never going to be able to give you the same kind of performance... no matter who makes it and how much it costs.

    Hi Jordi,

    Yeah, 2.3GHz is going to be pushing it a little. May I ask how much RAM you've got? You should be able to run these games on minimal settings and have minimal lag, but there are no guarantees.
