Windows 7 - ATI Mobilty Radeon 300X Catalyst!!

I am working on Dell Inspiron 6000 Laptop and I Installed Win 7 Fully Activated and working well. Windows Update downloads the graphics card as shown below:

and when I was searhing for Catalyst for My Graphic driver I found this on ATI Support Page:


But on Dell Support Screen They only give support for WindowsXP:


If there is anyone who would give me some help and I will be very grateful.

If you're asking about installation, have you tried installing it in Compatibility Mode?

The ATI Mobility x300 is not supported under x64. Ther is however a Vista 32 bit driver here

The driver was Automatically installed via Windows Update, the picture below from my windows update history :

That may well be the case. More systems have been screwed up by updated video drivers via Windows Updates than I've had hot dinners. Download the correct one from the link I gave you. Uninstall the Windows Update one and reinstall the correct driver.

I thank u Mr. Norm for help, but nothing happend from installing the driver and Catalyst from the ling u gave me, I first uninstalled the driver from the device manger then I excute the 8-12_vista32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_72275.exe that I downloaded but nothing happened.

when I reboot, Windows installed the driver automaticly so the prob of the driver is as follow:

You stated you are using a Dell Inspiron 6000. I just installed windows 7 on the same model but am having trouble finding an audio driver that will work, the audio card is a Sigmatel STAC 975X AC97. I am hoping that you will have a solution or a driver that works that i can install.

I have the Sigmatel Audio drivers. I'm actually using the old drivers that were for XP, and they work just fine. If you give me a minute i'll post em on the board (or upload to somewhere and then link ya)

Oh, and on the original subject, i disagree. I find that the drivers that i have gotten in Windows 7 Update are accurate, and typically better. (except for certain things where there is a specific driver that just happens to work better with a program, like the GTAIV driver issues). So I'd use those, if i were you.
