Are you connected via DVI or VGA?
Could you try changing the connector depending on what you are using at present?
Regards
well i have a jack to VGA plug A-DVI-Vga if this is wat u asked
Based on the photos you posted, it appears that you are using VGA - could you try changing that to a DVI connector?
Don't forget to power down
umm...my monitor does not have a Dvi vonectro i think it has only a blue headed cable
Sorry about that
Have you tried changing the resolution via the Catalyst Control Centre icon in your system tray.
- Right-click CCC
- Desktops and Display Tab
- Select the triangle>Properties
- Set the required resolution and refresh rate from there
Let us know how things turn out
Regards
it does not let me change the refresh rate at 1920x1080
i think uh i dunno i really nead that edid file for my 21.5" monitor
Hi
Open CCC>Go to Desktops and Displays>In the lower section where the small display icons (may depict your monitor) are located, click on the black triangle to get a dropdown menu;
Select Configure>Under the Color toggle:
Uncheck the box: Use Extended Display Identification Data [EDID] or driver defaults.
Once you uncheck that box, you should be able to select whatever options you want for Refresh Rates. BUT....it is at your own risk to do this. If your monitor does officially support the higher refresh rates, you should have no problems.
Keep us posted on your results - I'm gonna turn in, it's 3am
Take care and regards
