    Problem to install GeForce 8600M GT with Win7 32 bits on VAIO VGN-AR61


    Hi all !
    I updated my laptop to Win7 32 bits and i'm unable to install my GC to work properly.
    I tried to download the last drivers on the Nvidia website but it was unsuccessful.

    Any Idea to solve my problem.
    As a matter of fact my card is not detected, it's listed as "VGA Standart".

    I sawa few topics about similar problems but I can't find the solution !

    Any suggestion ?

    Welcome to Seven Forums. You can also try modding the .inf file using this program. It has shown some success in the past. NVIDIA MobilityModder

    I tried the 258.96 on Nvidia website, unsuccessful .
    Do you think it will change with the one you've suggested ?

    Where can I find the modified inf ?

    Download the latest Nvidia driver for your card from Nvidia Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers
    Then just follow the simple directions on the Nvidia Driverheaven site
    NVIDIA MobilityModder
    Download the tool at the bottom of the page. Then follow the instructins for win 7. Fabe
