Move your body!

Many new monitors have sensors on the front of them that let them go into powersave mode if there is no motion detected. Move slightly from time to time and you should be fine.

BTW - You can turn motion detection off in the Monitor menu options.

Hi gaz,

Does it turn off at random whilst you are using it, or when there has been no keyboard/mouse activity for a period of time?

Have a look at this Tutorial Power Plan Settings - Change and check the setting for Turn off the display.

Monitor options are hardware not in Windows

To adjust your monitor you need to get into the menu by pressing the various buttons on the monitor. If it's related to motion detection it has nothing to do with Windows whatsoever and therefore cannot be done on your PC.

Every monitor is different, either read the manual (on CD supplied with unit) or go to mfctr's website. You should be able to stumble on it by getting into monitor menu.
