    Motherboard Name MSI PM8M3-V / PM8PM-IL

    Hey!

I'm having problems to play games on my PC.
Every time when I try to open any game, even a small ones it say: "Hardware acceleration is either disabled or not supported by your video card driver, wich could slow game performance. Make sure you have the lastest video card driver installed and that hardware acceleration is turned on."

I aready installed the Video Adapter Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (64 MB) and my 3D Accelerator is VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro.

The Device Maneger didn't alert any Problem.

HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM PLEASE!!!!

Welcome to Seven Forums Ngoga. :)

I think you might be having problems because of the video card in the PC. You're using the onboard video, right? For most of the recent games, the on board graphics on most boards is quite underpowered, particularly with only 64 MB of video RAM.

I think the only cure for your problem is to buy a discrete video card with about 256 to 512 MB of RAM, and for your board it will need to be an AGP card. They are a bit tricky to find these days, but they are still available.

The other option is to upgrade the motherboard, video card, RAM, etc. But that can get expensive in a hurry. Maybe someone else will reply with better advice, but I hope that helps a little.

The "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" drivers are generic, and don't support all of the features of your onboard graphics device.

The newest graphics drivers for the P4M800 Pro chipset at Via:

VIA Drivers Download - VIA Technologies, Inc.

are for XP. It's possible that those may help you, but you won't get Aero Glass effects.

You could use an add-on AGP graphics card, but even those are getting rarer. PCI-Express has been the standard for a few years, and that's completely incompatible with your motherboard, I think. (Their names sound similar, but PCI and PCI-Express are completely different slots.)

I tried to do the Download.
See if I chose the correct options:
    Step 1: Microsof ft Windows
    Step 2: Windows 32-bit
    Step 3: Card Reader Driver
Only when I put "Card Reader Driver in the step 3, it automatically opens a new window to do the download the Card Reader Driver version 3.50A. I tried to install it but the program was shown incompatible and it finished the operation.

If I change the option of Step 3 for Integrated Graphics, in Step 4 it (the web) doesn't show the reference of my plate. It display so many boards but don't have my.

    I am quite concerned.
    I thank your help.
    Thank you
