W7 Reverts back to Cloned display mode

    Hey all,

I dont know how to describe this too well, so bare with me. Everytime a windows popup takes over my screen (like the UAC takeover, or the CTRL+ALT+DEL screen) my displays always revert to Cloned mode after the popup is finished.

I've tried the registry edit with changing the TMM value, but that has returned unsuccessful.

I'm using the windows 7 enterprise on a Fujitsu laptop with an internal Intel graphics card.

    Thanks!

I am having the exact same problems. Colorado Springs? I've searched for a patch, but to no avail.

I believe that it is a Windows 7 specific error. I've looked into the registry to see if there is a fix, but I'm not finding anything. However, there are specific programs which might fix the issue. I'm still looking into it.

    Email I sent out:

If you have a second monitor connected to your dock (with a VGA connection) and it continually changes orientation (from extended desktop to clone or etc) whenever you login, type in your administrative password, ctrl alt del, or things of the like, I believe I found a solution:

    1. Go to your Fujitsu Tablet Controls (Start -> Type: “Fujitsu Tablet Controls” OR press the BLUE Fn key, ON your laptop monitor, twice -> Select “Fujitsu Tablet Controls”)
    2. Boom. Uncheck all four “Enable Un/Docked Notebook/Tablet Profile” buttons
    3. Click Apply
    4. Celebrate.
    5. Now two step.
    6. Then get jiggy with it.

If it doesn’t work…..well……it worked for me so I don’t know what to tell ya. Later.

Not entirely sure that this thread makes complete sense, however...

    Update drivers?
