BFG 9800GTX 512 or BFG 9800GT 1024 personally i'd go for the 9800GTX 512mb, its the better card, higher clocks, 128 cores over 112 on the GT.....  the 1GB VRAM on a G92 card is a gimmick, its limited by a 256bit bus which makes just over 512mb of accessible VRAM, the rest just dont get utilized. what about the 9800GTX+, this is better still, runs cooler & can be picked up very cheap now..?? | | Originally I had a BFG 8800 GT that went bad so I returned it to BFG since it was still under warranty. In the mean time I bought the BFG 9800 GT 1024 which was on sale. When my replacement showed up I was suprised to see the replacement was the BFG 9800 GTX, so that is why I asked.. Appreciate the replies.. |
