    Quick GFX help, buying now :D


    Which is better?
    Asus HD 4890 1GB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card - Ebuyer

    Or

    Play.com (UK) : Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 / 1GB GDDR5 / PCI Express 2.0 / Graphics Card : Computing - Free Delivery


    I know the second has DX11 which i want. But dunno if overall its better, please guide me, cheers

    5770 is future proof, however by the time ther is an abundance of DX11 games there will be other options... if you absolutly have to buy right now and don't plan to upgrade for a while then the 5770, if you still want to play games but will upgrade not far downt he road i would get somthig from the 4700/4600 family...

    the 5770 is cheaper?

    So in a straight down battle which is better?

    A suggestion if you buy a 5770 take into concideration customer support and warranty. I like the XFX double lifetime warranty plus they have always responded quickly to my support tickets and RMA's were painless and quick. They even upgraded me when the card I was RMAing wasn't avalible.
