Problems with texture in some games

I'm having trouble playing some games. Everything looks fine, the menu's are ok, but once i start playing, the environment of the game doesn't show up, somehow. here is a picture of how it looks. (It is made in Sniper: Ghost Warrior, but this it not the only game doing it.)

How Sniper: Ghost Warrior looks on my laptop...

As you can see, the UI is fine, just the world you should be walking around in, isn't right. I have already tried several things, like updating my GPU drivers, downgrading my ingame graphics, etc. I have a ATI Radeon HD 4570 512MB GPU, which should be doing fine running it, Any idea's on how to solve this?

Has it worked in the past? Like on THIS install? Did it happen suddenly?

Didn't had the game before it started, but I used to play Spore, with was normal in the beginning, but after some time the same happened. So, yeah, it happened suddenly. It also only persists in some games, but games like World of Warcraft and Perfect World International are running perfect, even on highest detail.

    Strange indeed.

Try downloading and running Furmark and see what happens.

Wil do. In the meanwhile, what does Furmark do? Can't find an explanation that makes me understand...

I was hoping it would either crash your computer, or it would artifact/fail to render. What happened?

Well, the program worked. The animation didn't go smoothly, though. I felt like i was watching at 3 frames per second. I'll try to record it.

No need, I can see your FPS there.

That lack of temp interests me. Can you download GPUz and show me that?

Ok, made a video. Posted it on youtube.
Ignore the bad quality of the ring, on my pc it looks fine. It does move like it is shown.
