Would help to know what you have before spending any money on one. Also might be a good idea o give this a read,

Power Supply Information and Selection - Tech Support Forum

before spending anything. A cheap power supply isn't what you want, a good quality one is what you are after. In a lot of cases a good quality 400-500W power supply can and usually is better than a cheap 600-700W.

Also to give an idea of what to avoid in a power supply,

I'm not saying that you would have issues because of 2.16. I suggesting that you will not get the fullest possible performance from the vid card. I took my cpu from 2.6 to 3.8. Video card performance increased markedly, just an FYI.

Big difference between a 7300 GT and a HD 5770, in more than just performnce. The 5770 also has a lot higher power requirements, is the PSU up to running it?
Indeed you hit it right. I found a 700watts PSU @ work good quality and good condition, brought it home and poof all is good. I had forgotten that I had taken my original 650watts out for burning out and had to get a quick solution to put one of less wattage. This PSU im using now is working beautifully and no more system slow.

Thanks to every single one of you who gave me advice.

    Thank you all again
