Windows 7: Samsung LN46A650 native resolution not working

Samsung LN46A650 native resolution not working

In windows 7, I can get just about every resolution EXCEPT 1920 x 1080 (the native resolution); when I try to switch to that resolution, the tv goes black and displays a "Mode not supported" message. Everything was working fine when running in windows XP when running my Samsung LN46A650 in 1920 x 1080, using a VGA cable with DVI adapter. Mobo and display drivers (HD4770) are up to date. The TVs firmware is 2008.9. Does anyone know how to fix this?
