If it is 2x dual DVI you can run 4 monitors

That is twice as cool as 2

Dual link DVI does not support running 2 monitors off 1 port, but allows for twice the resolution.

So you still only get 2 monitors.

Hmm... What am I thinking of then... At work there is only one DVI port on the back of the workstation, but with a splitter, two monitors are available for use...

My school has these as well. I am not entirely sure, but I would guess it is for mirroring.
I will have to try it at some point.
If you notice though, the one connected to the computer is NOT a standard DVI port.

With one of these and four monitors you can run a small country, corner the market or game till your head explodes ! Your choice, choose wisely !

Ok, I have tried every option for getting Windows 7 to install, failed, and decided I was going to go back to Vista. However, I am now getting the same error installing Vista as I have been getting installing Windows 7. So this HAS to be to do with a setting somewhere.. :sarc: Ok, the issue...
