Recommend a graphics card to play blu ray videos smoothly

Recommend a graphics card to play blu ray videos smoothly

got AMD processor and gigabyte motherboard with integrated graphics port which doesnt help in playing 1080p blueray videos of m2ts format lagging or pixelated

so i need mimimum requirement graphics card that can help in playing blu ray videos

note: i dont use for gaming so i am expecting graphics card which can play bluray videos smoothly

Pretty much any modern card can do this. I would suggest the GeForce GT 220 or if you want to go cheaper, the G210. On the ATI side, I would suggest either a Radeon HD 5570 or 5450. They should all be able to accelerate M2TS video without any issues. On the plus side, Nvidia can also accelerate WMV, in case you make any use of it.

According to my personal experience, I will never suggest to go with GT 220. Go with GT 250 or if you have some low budget, Go with 9800 GT, 9800 GTX or plus etc.

You should check your power supply & purchase that is suitable with your power supply.
