To tell you the truth i been using both brands Nvidia was my first buy's back in the day 5200fx 128mb 5200fx 256 mb and the 7300gt 512mb oc'ed by me

now i use the current hd5770 I have always thought of Nvidia as a Top dog cards but here and there i see amd matching performance with certain chipsets

firepro open gl vs cuda physx Even though i jumped on the amd bandwagon not only for price but also for the set up runs alot cooler and has excellent speed for the money

I would chose nvida though cause i know they make very powerfull cards for that i wouldnt know anything about those kind of cards from amd unless someone post a few articles betwen the two

    GeForce GTX 480 hands down.

It's the fastest single GPU solution out there right now.
