Green Pixels, Screen Freezes, Random Turn Offs?

I think i have fixed the problem. I went into event manager and the process which always come before the crash was "eectrl" which i found out was a process by Norton anti virus. since then i have removed norton and replaced with AVG. and all seems to be working perfect

Araghhh! Guys looks like the problem is back again even though i have changed my security from "Symantec" to "AVG".

I have attached some screen shots of the error i am getting. The Kernel error is because i have to turn my computer off manually it is the "Filter Manager" error that is the problem???

I know it is the filter manager error that is the problem because it is always there every single time?
Much help needed :S

I would personally look at downloading and installing Microsoft Security Essentials as it's designed to work seamlesly with Windows.

That would be my advice, too. Give it a try. It is made for Windows and has a minimum of problems.

So should i remove AVG from my computer?

After making a restore point, I think that you should and then go with Security Essentials.
Use the uninstall tool
