When the installation finished the screen resulotion now is 1024x768
this resulotion is not good because on vista the resolution was 1280x768
and now windows 7 has given me 1024x768(highest)

    http://www.sis.com/download/
    1.select what OS you have
2.select whether your graphics card is IGP(intergrated graphics processing) or GPU (graphics processing unit)
3.It will tell you what graphic card supports it.e g sis 672 or sis 650

Welcome to SEvenForums. It would help if you would fill in you entire system specs here
sis mirage 3 graphics problem with windows 7-usercp-1.png

Here is a program that can help you with that Speccy - System Information - Free Download
This way the only thing a member has to do is click on the My System Specs in the lwer left hand corner of any of your posts to find them.

You'll also see if you scroll down to the bottom of your thread several other related threads and suggestions that may or may not be of some use to you.

Have you tried to install the above driver in compativility moede either Vista or XP?
    Compatibility Mode

For Vista also another tutorial Drivers - Install Vista Drivers on Windows 7

Thanks and good luck . Please post back.
