Just finished reading a great review on the VisionTek 6870 and it is impressive. This new series of cards from AMD look like great gaming cards and in the 250.00 range.

I agree and am planning on a new build in about 6 months. The only thing is I've always used Nvidia cause of the Unified driver architecture. And am still a bit nervous about switching to AMD/Radeon especially since I've seen all the posts about the new diver 10.10 and the problems people are having, it seems though most have to do with the 5770.

I guess I'll see where we are in 6 months then decide, but they are definitely coming on strong with DX11,Eyefinity and the newer cards have seen improvement in tessellation as well.
