I think you're card is supported for the MLAA try it out see if it works they have a list of cards it works on
I don't think it works on the 4000 series card, and you have to use a tweak to get it working on the 5000 series cards as discussed here - New Catalyst Hotfix Coming Soon (Updated MLAA) - Rage3D Discussion Area

I'm not losing sleep over it anyway so it doesn't matter to me. I'll worry about it when I move to a 6000 card :)

BTW I have 10.10 hotfix drivers installed.

What i like about the 6870 is that it has the lowest power consumption of all the 6000 and 5000 series's and with a few case fans it runs at 63-70c at full load, and its allot faster than the 5850 and very close to the 5870 on normal games, but it really shines on games with high requirements(don't know about that personally cause i don't have my mother board yet)but that is what the reviews say.

The building is fun but the best part is the first time you switch it on and run a benchmark that blows your old score to bits!!

Finnaly got a new board, and ran the card on 3dmark06,my previous card gtx285 scored 19578 on basic default setting and on full hd all at the max it scored 11236.But the ati scored 20093 on the default setting.(not much of an improvement) BUT on the highest settings with everything at its best it scored 17588!!!!(allot better than 11236) So as stated in the cards review it stands out under high pressure.
