Games won't load right? Some configuration off?

Enlightened
I just updated my system a little bit. I was still running on a single core 64bit AMD and DDR1 ram! MOH was running like poo.

Anyway my new setup is an Asus M4A88D-TD/USB3 motherboard which has built in ATI Radeon HD 4250 but I'm still using my old ATI 3870 HD X2 as its faster.

Problem I've got it all games start to load but black screen. Nothing I do seems to help. I just get lit back screen, no sound, no video, nothing.

Is it possible the signel is being sent to one of the other video out plugs? I have a total of 6, 4 DVI and 2 HDMI. Not sure what to check. I've re-installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 twice now.

Not sure what else to do.

The only thing I can think to suggest first is to make sure that your onboard graphics is disabled in your bios.

Also this only happens with games?
Another thing to take a look at is in your device manager, is your monitor listed as what it is or PnP?
If it is listed as PnP your going to want to try and got to the manufacturers site and see if their is a driver for it (.inf file) and install it. This may not fix the issue but will at the least allow you full control over it's native resolution and other choices.

I don't think it has anything to do with your signal not being detected correctly form the output your using. As the signal can only reach your monitor through the cable outlet you have chosen to use.
If your using DVI and have a VGA cable and adapter and your monitor also will accept VGA I would give that a try and see if their is any difference.
Please let us know how your connected DVI to HDMI or whatever.
Thanks. Fabe

I somewhat figured it out, sorta.

Crossfire... If I disable Crossfire, it started to work. I tried installing some other games too and found some work in Crossfire, some don't on this computer.

The funny thing is, that Crossfire worked on these SAME games, using this SAME video card, prior to my motherboard, CPU and RAM upgrade this week.

Also, I've disabled the onboard video.
