5670's high temperature..

i have an asus 5670 1gb graphic card its idle temperature is at 45' c i found that the idle temp should be at 38' c so i increased the fan speed using asus smartdoctor from 1500 rpm to 2200 rpm but the temp is still at 45c what should i do? should i increase the fan speed even more? in the auto fan control mode even at 60'c the fan's rpm is 1500 is it normal? my friend's nvidia graphic card got fried couple of days ago so i'm worried about mine..

Not worry about it. 45°C is fine for idle, it's load temps you need to worry about. You also have to remember that ambient temperature and airflow through the case also have a factor in what the temps are

Pretty much what stormy said.

Modern video cards are tanks mate, in the unfortunate event that your temps start reaching ~100c (or something close to it's limit) your video card will downclock itself to prevent damage.

Download and Install MSI Afterburner to set up a custom fan profile.

Nahh don't sweat it mate.

Seriously, ~45c = absolutely nothing to worry about.

Like I said, download MSI Afterburner and set up a more aggressive fan profile.
