    Ouch ! How are you doing with 1gb of ram as well? Are you ReadyBoost'g ? Crucial has a ram calculator people here use a lot.

    so-so not using ready boost i have 2 512 pc2-3200 would 2 pc2-5300 show a difference.

    You mean doubling your ram. Yes I think it would be huge but are your running 32bit or 64 bit W7? 32bit will cap out at a practical 3.4 gb's but 64 bit is almost unlimited. Likely your running 32 bit and I would like to see you add for a total of 4 gb's which would help tons. Keep in mind a usb or sd flash card is cheap and it will speed things along.

    Patriot had a wicked price on a 8gb stick for cheap but they sold out, it's one of the few that quote a ReadyBoost certificate.
