Help finding a psu.

Hello all. I plan on upgrading my graphics card to a PNY 9800gt which is in my budget. of $100 or less.

Amazon.com: Geforece 9800EE 1024MB GDDR3, Pci-e 2.0: Electronics

I would also like to know if this would Support the Graphics card/ fit in my medium ATX case.

Link for the PSU

Newegg.com - Rosewill Green Series RG530-S12 530W Continuous @40C, 80 PLUS Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC "Compatible with Core i7,i5" Power Supply

The current dimension's of the PSU i currently have is 5.9 W x 3.4 H x 5.5 D-inches which is a 250W

Thanks!

You will be fine with 530w.

My advice is stay away from Rosewill PSU's.
Look at the Feed back tab on the Newegg page 30 out of 104 rate it one star.

As Lemur pointed out it will be sufficient wattage.

I would prefer an Antec - e.g. this one: Newegg.com - Antec BP550 Plus 550W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.2 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

The graphics card is not all that hot either. How about this one for $100: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127527

I would go with the GTS 450 but I prefer the new Nvidia cards.

There is nothing wrong with ATI though. Just my preference.

Only thing i'm worried about with that MSI card is space my tower is a Medium ATX case so I am not sure if it will cause much of a problem inside. I do have a lot of empty space though. Also would that card fit in a PCI-e x16 slot ?

Newegg.com - MSI N450GTS CYCLONE 1GD5/OC GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Is this the one? Click Details tab on the page.

For the model I posted.

Interface PCI Express 2.0 x16 Which is what you have.

Card Dimensions 8.27" x 4.37"

Front to back in the case it is 8.27". Side to side it is 4.37".
