In W7 (as in others) you can have different User accounts, BUT, is it possible to have a different Screen resolution for each account, so that when one changes from User to User the Resolution changes with it? If so, how?

Warning
- Windows 7 does not allow for each user to have their own screen resolution. Changing the screen resolution in one user account will change it for all user accounts on the computer.
- Make sure the Color Depth (Colors) is set to True Color (32 bit) to help have the best picture.
If you're concerned about the size of graphics and text on-screen, you can change the screen magnification under "personalize". This change will only affect the the current account and will not affect other accounts.
Thanks folks. Thought as much. Did find an application which allowed one to do this for XP but do not think it works for W7. Will just have to keep changing screen resolution each time, inconvenient though. Just discovered that if I Auto hide the Task bar then the bottom of the screen which I need becomes visible. Still not perfect, but better than nothing.

This is just speculation, as I really don't know if it's possible to do this, but perhaps one could write a batch file that would accomplish this. If what you are wanting is to be able to switch users rather than changes screen res, you could merely click on a shortcut to the batch file. If you are wanting to set up a different screen res for some other user that they will always use, you could place the .bat file shortcut in their startup folder.
That said, today's displays work best in their native resolution.

Thanks, but I have absolutely no idea what a Batch file is and even less on how to write one. Very much a beginner!
