It would also help if you tell us what game you're trying to play. Sometimes, or at least most of the times modern games require some serious hardware to properly run.

Hm, I'll suggest that it's not your graphic card overheating as said by other people here.

It could be your current processes that may slow your computer down or even your internet connection. Take a screen shot of your task manager and post it here. It'll assist us to reduce the number of possible problems.

To access your task manager, click these buttons at the same time; alt ctrl del

Also, what do you mean when you wrote; "Ill play then come back and its like laggy as hell"?

Take notice, it could be your CPU that may overheat, double check that, as posted by others, that your desktop is receiving cool airflow. Make sure that there is no dust buildup, since it tends to occur to computers over time.

Also, I've just noticed your CPU, it seems to be pretty "weak" with one core and 2.7GHz One core, these days, is unrecommended. Multicore processors are highly recommended.

Another thing you can do is tone down the graphics settings in Combat Arms. Lower the resolution and tell us the result.

That's exactly what the original post read. It doesn't explain your situation.

What do you mean you come back? Does the low frame rate lay low when you're playing the game? Lower your display settings in Combat Arms, let's hear results...

So you leave, for how long and leaving the game meaning you're in the game lobby or during actual game play?
