Windows 7: CCC wont open

Catalyst control center all it does is the loading icon then it goes away with nothing to open?

Did you just Update your video drivers and get the New Catalyst?

Post system specs, video card and version of catalyst installed.

Also when did this start? Randomly or been doing it awhile?

I have the catalyst also installed and 4xxxx series ati card.
Ati catalyst sometimes make strange things.
And this happent to me also,and sometimes no sound from the hdmi etc.
Anyway.
Download and install Driver sweeper Guru3D - Driver Sweeper (Setup) download from Guru3D.com
Remove the catalyst,Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.
Restart in safe mode,start Driver sweeper,select ati,clean,restart.
Download and Install catalyst http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
Restart.
Tip: if you like,create and use profiles with changes in resolution,anti aliasing etc with hot-keys stick with 10.11,don't install 10.12.

You want to be very careful with driver sweeper....someone was on here a couple days ago, after driver sweeper deleted some system files....
