    Color Change

    Hey guys,

Sorry if this question has been asked and answered. I've read a lot on this forum, but there's really too much to go through, and none of the search terms I'm using are bringing up the same issue (maybe because I'm not describing it correctly).

    Anyway, here's my issue:

After setting the colors the way I want them via nVidia's control panel, Windows 7 is automatically changing them back after every restart.

When I go back into the control panel, my presets are still active and still right where I set them, but I have to again check the "use nVidia's settings" option.

W7 was automatically rearranging my icons and not allowing me to situate them where I wanted. That was a quick fix, however, and even a noob like me could grasp what was going on.

With this, though, I haven't the slightest idea.

How can I get W7 to stop auto-changing the color scheme?

With my old Vista, it would start up as a default scheme, but then it would eventually click over to my personalized color settings. With W7, it doesn't bother and I have to do it manually after every restart.

    My Specs:

    W7 Home Premium 64-bit
    4GB RAM
    1TB HDD
    GTS450 GPU
    AMD quad-core 2.9GHz
    500W PSU

    Thanks

    Hi

    Welcome to Seven Forums :)
I think the issue persists because you are using Nvidia's control panel to conduct the changes.
Have you tried changing the colour scheme's via Windows personalization menu?
