Although I got a nice speaker system, I would rather play the sound through the TV.
Or will it make more sense to play audio from PC speakers.
Other question since card has Svideo out and TV has Svideo input will the picture be just as clear or better to get one of those adapters. | My System Specs | | OS DOS^ Internet Speed VERY FAST>>>!!! |

you can use the dvi to hdmi cable but you also need a mini jack sound cable . you can pick one up almost any where for about ($6.00) .it has the small plug the go's to your pc and it comes out to (rca) plugs that go to your tv. another thing you can do is get a hdmi video card i have the ( ATI Radeon HD 5750) and just plug the hdmi off my video card to the tv and it works fine with audio and video.

on the back of your pc there's 6 colored plugins . plug the mini cable to the black plugin and the other end of the cable are rca jacks you should be able to plug then into the back of your tv and your done. i used this setup before i got my new card and it worked fine (but the video quality was not as good as just hdmi). | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number home build OS win 7 ( 64 bit) CPU Intel Core i7-870 Lynnfield 2.93GHz 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1156 95 Motherboard ASUS P7P55 LX LGA 1156 Memory G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD6800 Series Sound Card hdmi Monitor(s) Displays 42" lg 3d tv Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard logtech Mouse logitect PSU Rosewill BRONZE Series RBR1000-M 1000W Continuous@40°C, 80Pl Case CoolMaster 922 Cooling CORSAIR CWCH60 Hydro Series H60 High Performance Liquid CPU Hard Drives 1 ssd pci-e revodrive

So if my GPU had HDMI out, where is it getting audio from?
The audio is comming back from the playback option once you switch monitors resolution also when you go to HDMI the tv must be on at all time any turning tv off will break the signal as far as the 5750 go even the lighter 5670 has this feature also doesnt need xtra power to run
it is much easier to have a card that does all the funtions in one remember for the sound to work right click volume go to play back options set it to hdmi via card after the tv is on and recieved a signal then from there you Will be GOLDEN !
BUT .............if you are going old school SV video will work as well but won't look as good | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Built by me FX - Series Scorpious OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit sp1 CPU Vishera FX 8350 Oc' 4.812Ghz 1.488 V-core full load 50c Motherboard Asus Sabertooth 990fx rev 2.0 Memory 16gb Corsair Vengeance ram 1600mhz Oc'ed to 1750mhz Graphics Card VisionTek HD7970 Ghz.ed Bios Crossfire 1150/1560 power 10% Sound Card AC97 Monitor(s) Displays 27" ViewSonic 1920/1080dp hdmi 37in vizio hdmi dual monitors Screen Resolution 1920x1080 27"- 1920x1080 37" Keyboard Logitech wireless keyboard Mouse Logitech wireless mouse PSU HX1050w Corsair Silver 80plus certified crosfire/sli Case Thermaltake Element V Cooling Antec 620 Water cooling system and 4 120 mm LED fans Hard Drives Ocz Agility 120Gb SSD Seagate baracuda 500 Gb WD Mybook 500Gb Internet Speed Cable 25+ mb Antivirus WebRoot Spysweeper with Antivirus Browser IE-9, Chrome, Opera Other Info I have 2 systems FX AM3+ 8350-K15 Oc'ed 4.812Ghz AM2+ 965 BE Stock 3.4 Ghz Both stable Both Gaming Rigs Also Hp Notebook 1.65 ghz Dual core amd E-450 8gb Patriot Ram DDR3 Discrete Gpu Hd6320 dedicated ram 1973 mb 15.5 screen OS DOS^ Internet Speed VERY FAST>>>!!! |
