    So should more ram make me not lag anymore? ( 2 gigs more )

    As far as I know, lag specifically deals with Internet. You can ping a specific site to check on lag. You can also check your Internet connection speed: Check My Internet Connection Speed | Internet Connection Speedometer | McAfee

    Upgrading memory can boost performance. So, your browser may render faster - but that's not a lag issue.

    I guess those are two questions: fps and lag.

    Yes, your processor, video card and memory will impact fps.

    huh are you talking about lagging online? that may be to your internet. but overall fps comes from having a decent gpu and cpu

    Yep.

    If your game is smooth offline, but lags online - it's your ISP - not your PC.

    If your game games is choppy offline, an upgrade will help - but 'lag' is still dictated by your ISP connection.
