Actually I kind of read it.

But then my PSU was left on those connectors so I can't connect anymore of those.

If you're talking about most games, which are heavily GPU dependent then yes you're right, but this is World of Warcraft he's talking about. CPU clock speed has an absurdly high effect on performance in WoW, especially in crowded areas. I'd definitely recommend overclocking your quad at least a bit if your cooling situation can handle it.

I just ordered a gtx260 myself to upgrade my 8800gts, and I play WoW quite a bit myself so I hope I don't end up in the same situation, but my q6600 (2.4ghz stock) is usually running at 3+ghz depending on what I'm doing, and the OC makes a huge difference in WoW in raids and crowded cities. The wow engine unfortunately just relies on CPU clock very heavily.

Windows 7 32-bit; no 64 coz its a P4 478

OMG! I THOUGHT U KNEW ABOUT THE 2 PCI-E Connectors!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE TO CONNECT BOTH! i didn't ask you about that question, coz it seems to simple....... like a,b,c.... Never mind, just go out and buy a good PSU... that has 2 PCI-E connectors..... And avoid using the computer now.... Coz its bad to run a graphic card without feeding it enough power...!!!!!!!!
PS: Ask other for PSU... .Never mind i'll ask them for you....

I don't think he was running with on-board GC... I think it was on GTX 260 low power mode... which shuts down the card till the performance is badly affected (i think???)
