I have tried to install all ati catalst control software so that I can use my tv out. I am useing win7 7100 this feature worked when I used win7 beta but I keep get the error install package failure can any ont come up with a fix for this.
I have tried all methods of trying to install these drivers as admin from safe mode by deleting the drivers in compatability mode and nothing works. Tried with all ati drives upto 9.6.

I have the same card, and havent' had a problem like that since 9.4. Did forget to say that I am running in 64 bit .
I have a Saphire HD 4870 and Win 7 7232 WIndows Update updated the driver to the latest by itself. Can't beat that.

ATI Catalystâ„¢ Mobility Display Driver
Well for some reason these drivers did work. I installed them in full admin mode they loaded but said that the display drive was missing. Was still able to set tv out but it was in black and white.
Booted back in to user mode and had to install them again and they are now working so thanks for these drivers.
