Installed CCC 11.1, detects as 10.5

After I installed CCC 11.1, CCC and gpu z detects it as 10.5.

    I uninstalled 10.12 before I installed 11.1

Did you uninstall the Catalyst software before installing the new one?? that may be the cause of the problem!

Uninstall, run Driver Sweeper to delete leftovers and re-install :)

The Driver Pakaging version is correct. The driver is installed.

Todays Cat11.1WHQL release was missing a line in the .inf file which updates the Catalyst version in the registry. The driver still functions as normal. They may upload a corrected version. Alternatively, Run RegEdit and search for all instances of 'Catalyst_Version' and modify to read 11.1

Or don't worry about it as it doesn't have any affect on anything. Also,

same thing happens with any beta or hotfix as well.

Uninstall, run Driver Sweeper to delete leftovers
P.S. This is one of those things I wish people would stop just throwing out there for every little perceived problem. Yes it can be a useful tool, but it should always come with a warning that it can and sometimes does remove more than it should (think registry cleaners that remove and break things, same idea), which usually results in not being able to install the driver at all. When this happens if you're lucky System Restore can get it back to before DS was run, or you have a abckup image to restore from. If System Restore fails or you don't have a backup image, the only fix is to re-install Windows to fix it.
