    need Toshiba Satellite A-80 graphics driver for 32 bit windows 7


    Hi !

    I have got an old laptop of toshiba A80. Now i need to install the graphic card on my laptop. I have installed 32 bit windows 7 on my laptop

    Did you not have a driver cd with it? Old Toshibas should have a driver cd along with the factory restore cd(s)

    Try Toshiba's website - you'll need the model + serial but they have drivers for old lappies.

    Hi and welcome to the Forum.
    Looking at specification of your laptop I do not think you will find a driver for Windows 7. Indeed if you have managed to get Win 7 installed and working on this laptop I would be surprised. The quoted minimum specs required are;
    1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor

    1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

    16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

    DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

    i have tried. Model is Satellite A-80. Toshiba dont have relevant drivers for this model for Windows 7, 32 bits

    How far have you got with installing Win 7 on this machine as I doubt very much if it will ever be successful. How old is the laptop?

    when I got the laptop, it already had windows 7 installed on it. this laptop must be more than 3 years old. Driver model may be is " Mobile Intel (R) 915GM/GMS, 910GML Express chipset family "

    When you boot up the machine what do you see? What makes you think you need a graphics driver?

    when i right click on the desktop and press Screen Resolution". It shows me the screen rsolution screen. In the Display Tab, it shows "1. Generic PnP monitor on Standard VGA Graphic Adopter". I have set the screen resolution to "1024*768"

    So where is the problem? I think with just ˝Gb RAM you are lucky it works at all!

    Need more than just A-80 for the model number as from looking at these two reviews of the A-80 is can have either the ATI X300 of Nvidia Go 6200,
