I need a new graphics card

So, I have figured out that my computer is lacking a "good" gaming graphics card.

The one I have at the moment is an Intel GMA X4500.

How will I know what graphics card is compatible with the socket it uses?

and what graphics card is good with a price range of $70-$100?

    Hello there Ackbar.

Could you please give us an idea of what PC do you have? not just the integrated video card :)

Plase fill the System Specs so we can help you. i'm guessing your Motherboard supports PCIe 2.0 @ x16 but we need to know what PSU is on your system, manufacturer and wattage at least so we can see its specs and help you the right way :)

Punkster is correct we can't really advise on this until we know the details of your system. If it's home built a motherboard model will be a lot of help. If you purchased a prebuilt computer we need the make and model number i.e. hp pavilion dv6000
