    Possible Graphics Card Problem

    Hi,

Something bizarre happened on my laptop earlier. I was playing Football Manager 2011 and I noticed that the laptop was fully charged up, so I pulled the charger out to allow it to run off the battery. However, when I did this the screen completely died on me, as in it started to produce green pixels all over the place and basically gave the look of something which has water in it.

My only solution was to turn the laptop off, and after 10 minutes I turned it on again to find that it was fine. Loaded as normal (Possibly slightly slower due to having to start from a position of being turned off without clicking "Shut down".) and everything seemed to run fine. However, I loaded up Football Manager again and noticed the 2D match engine is running slower than it normally would, and can be somewhat laggy at times.

I'm just wondering, is there something wrong with my graphics card all of a sudden? The series of events that led to it don't really link up, but I can't really figure out any logical issue.

I've updated my system specs to the best I can right now :) It isn't really a gaming laptop, but was purchased with having the ability to play games in mind. It is able to run recent games such as GTA IV and Dirt 2 as far as I am aware.

How do I go about showing you Dump files and such?

    HD4xxx series gpu ?

    4200m?
    4500m?

Dump files have to be zipped then uploaded through the file share app .

Also i noticed you are running a turion cpu im not to sure about those but im thinking it is the least powerfull cpu they have in line ...simple the cpu might be having trouble keeping up with the hardware demand.

cpu's do controll video to some extent i would look into how hot it is getting and monitor the tj max

Im sure fantasy football take little to none resources when playing but i would look at the hardware first to see how hot it is getting /and if you updated any video drivers go back to the one that was most stable
