HELP!! 4 Monitors not working. One stays black, the other blue

I have 2 DVI splitters and a Nvidia quadro 44o card. This is on XP. No screen will come up to change any setting. I get the windows XP starting screen followed by one that goes staright blue and the other goes black. And thats it, no more no less.

I can install the drivers or get in any mode other than a blue and black screen.

First I'll assume by splitter you mean a DMS-59 to dual DVI adapter like this,

HELP!! 4 Monitors not working. One stays black, the other blue-dms59.png

seeing as I can't find any NVS 440's with a DVI port on them.

That said what happens with only one monitor connected? Will Windows load then and allow you to install the drivers?

If everything works with only one monitor connected, have another cable to try to see if it is a bad adapter?

I have 3 different adapter so that can't be it.

Its not a DVI card. It is the DMS-59 on the computer and splits to two DVI like the one pictured. When one monitor is connected it's still just a blue screen, plain XP blue. I can log on, because I dont see the log on box. I dried to drag or do anything i could. You can't right click or anything.

You could try safe mode - Enable VGA Mode

In Windows, how can I boot into Safe Mode? - Knowledge Base
