    wont find graphics-card

Hey guys i have a problem, when i had my computer shutdownd for like a month i decided to start it again, problem is that my graphics card in the PCi-e 16x (at least i think its the PCI-e 16x) wont be found by bios or device manager, in other words when i put my vga cable in my graphics card nothing happens so i have to use my on-board graphic. i have tested 3 diffrent graphics card
    Nvidia geforce NX8500gt
Ati radeon X1900XTX (did not forget to put in the extra cable)
    and nvidia geforce 9600 something

    My computer Aspire M3641

    mainboard ID acer MCP73PV
    Bios version 08.00.15

    4GB ram

    nVIDIA GeForce 7100 (on-board)

    Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q8200 2.33GHz

    Windows 7 ultimate (64bits)

    Things i have tried
Reinstalling windows, installed drivers for all the graphics cards, reset bios, disabled the on-board graphics card and tried "everest" nothing helped

If somebody can help i would be very thankfull
    BTW: sry my spelling sucks...

i took a closer look at my motherboard and i found a cap that looks broken ost 6.3v 1000µf.

ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting its the cap in the red ring. My question is can that be the problem?

also is there a pci driver that i can install online for my bios?

    Hi,

There is no specific pci driver for BIOS,I think you will have to live with onboard graphics.

I have the same issue and same Acer. Any idea? I think pci-e x16 bus is broken. No graphic card detected into bios . Only onboard card work. And strange red point appear randomically.

Dudee, take the GFX card out and use air to blow out the PCIe slot really well. Put it back in and make sure it is fully seated, that is, tight.
