    OpenGL Failure in CS 1.6


    I'm having trouble playing counter strike 1.6 (steam) with Renderer OpenGL.
    I don't want to play with Software or D3D for diffrent reasons (it sux X_X).
    I can really use your help here, I have windows 7, 64 bit. This is my video-card:
    ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series (Microsoft).

    Kosmith welcome to the Seven Forums.

    First thing would be to install the driver for your video card,

    https://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-c...ndows-7-a.html

    instead of using the built in Windows 7 driver, which I believe doesn't install the OpenGL components.

    Yes, but where do I find the driver for MY video card?

    Ok I have downloaded the driver. OpenGL is now working! Thanks a lot dude!
    One question though X_X..
    Why is my max resolution in game so low now?
    It could be ~1700 and now only ~1400?
    And it shows the game in bow and left and right lanes are black..
