Well, I got a call back from the computer tech. this morning and my computer is all set to go. He said it was a VERY interesting project. Being an HP Mediacenter computer, there were some issues that were particular to that specific motherboard and the tuner card. He ended up having to update the bios and then customize it. I am not quite sure what that all entailed. I had looked on the HP site for any bios updates, early on, and didn't see any update available.

Anyway, he says I can get to the bios now, if ever I need to, and the system is working good. Just need to restore the Windows 7 user accounts and install programs and I will be back to "normal". I'll pick up the computer after work and, whatever the bill comes out to be, I think it is money well spent. I should have just brought the computer in, from the get go, and saved myself hours of late night frustration. I have a HP Slimline S3400F to upgrade next and he said that will be a cake walk compared to the M8200N.

Thanks for you help and input,
Mike
