    6490m vs 6770? What's the difference?


    So I'm buying a new laptop today. HP is having a sale and I found a coupon to get an extra 375 off beyond the sale price. I'm debating between the 6490m vs 6770 graphics cards that it shows available, but I'm just not sure which one to get! It's only a $25 difference in price, but I don't want to get something I'm not going to need. I do gaming and watch a lot of videos.

    No benchmarks on the 6770M unfortunately, but just on specs alone the 6770M over the 6490M,

    In desktop card terms the 6490 would be on the low end, where the 6770 would be mid range.
