Intel 915 GM Win 7 Issue

I have installed windows 7 on my HP 510. All my other drivers work except for my Intel Display Driver (915 GM). If there is any link or something I can do to fix this or find Win 7 Drivers. Intel didn't make Win 7 drivers and they don't have any support for this card anymore.

You'll have to make do without aero. As you rightly said Intel never made WDDM drivers for this card, theres no trick/tip/hack that'll make aero work with this card. If you want aero, upgrade to a newer card.

As for drivers, install the XP driver in compatibility mode.

Here's Intel's support page regarding older GFX on Windows 7

Graphics — Older Intel® graphics controllers and Microsoft Windows 7* operating system

And a link to Intel's Drive Update Utility

I have tried the Windows XP Drivers in compatibility mode and after restart all it does is return to the "Standard VGA Card" Driver and says that it cannot find drivers for the " Video Controller". But before restart it says the drivers work but will only start after restart. But they don't work. These drivers worked on Win XP but I don't have that anymore.

Try extracting the driver to a folder on the hard drive. Then in device manager, right click on the yellow exclamation mark device, click Update driver then point it to the folder where you extracted the driver.
