    you installed 8.12 because they're the latest available at driverheaven right?
    you're confirming that it works? it's annoying as hell having black borders around games

    Correct. The ATI8.12 from Driverheaven are the latest available for modding. Just be sure to select Full Screen under Notebook Panel Properties, and you should get proper aspect ratio in all your games
