    Resolution Malfunction

Could someone try to help with this? It is #$%^^@ annoying to change my res back to normal each time I reboot. I have the nVIDIA 270.XX driver, no NV control panel (it changes color balance), no Physx.
    Thanks in advance.

thanks, but I have used every driver from something like 254.xx on up to their latest, no help.
If I boot into my <cough> Win8 partition and restart, it is just fine. It is X86 and Win7 is X64, bbut that should not make any difference.

    It is acting up again?

I haven't run across anything new.
    Wish I had.

Win8 works right. That is screwy.

At least that eliminates the hardware. I would think if the vid card was screwy it would be a problem in both .

Acting up still. I think since it works in 8 that should eliminate hardware malfucilties? I can put one together, but this kind of problem drives me sane (already nutz)

Hey Mike. I think...think, I found the problem on the goofy resolution issue. I have Weatherbug installed and it was set to run at 640X480. I unchecked that in the properties dialog and so far after 3 reboots the res is staying at my native 1920X1080. <Crosses fingers>
I did a google search and found many others having the same issues even with XP. One smart cookie found this by checking all his start-ups.
