Geforce 240 + DG965WH = Small Bios screen?

So my old 8600 pooped out, and for some reason the 9 series has a higher psu demand than the 2 series, so I got a Nvidia 240 GT from ECS.

Windows detected the card and the nvidia drivers loaded up fine.

But when I'm in the bios, the screen is a lot smaller, albeit a lot cleaner looking than with the 8600. I thought maybe it was a bios issue so I checked to see if there was a new bios update for the DG965WH, but there wasn't. Intel dropped support on the mainboard in 09, which is pathetic since I bought the mainboard in 08. So I looked around the bios settings for a resolution setting, but no such luck. Of course Intels "check your system" utility says the 240 isn't recognized or supported, but it said that about the 8600 years ago.

Anyone have any idea what I may be missing?

I'm thinking this GPU's default resolution is 1920x1080. I went into the monitor settings and checked the signal, it said it was at 1920x1080 while I was in the bios. Now the problem I think is that on this specific mainboard, the bios may try to post at 800x600, or perhaps even 640x480, so when this card runs the bios at 1920x1080, that's why it is smaller?

I can't be sure but I think the 8600 I had said the resolution was at 640x480 when I was in the bios, I think it only went to 1920x1080 once windows booted up.

Just an update on that gpu thing.

I tried another 240 out of curiosity, and on two different intel boards, same thing.

I just got really curious because Intel's techs seemed clueless, and I really couldn't find anything about it on google.
