Windows 7 - Refresh Rate change causes split screen

| | Refresh Rate change causes split screen Hello everyone. I have a small display issue in Windows 7. Whenever I try to increase my refresh rate beyond 60, my screen is split in four screens from left to right. The border between the first and second screen also moves slightly back and forth. My monitor is supposed to be able to handle 75 Hertz; and it can indeed so in when I boot up in Windows XP Home (32 Bit). I've tried reinstalling my video card driver and also forced the monitor to use a Windows XP driver (as there are no drivers developed for Windows Vista/Windows 7; Iiyama claims Microsoft's Plug and Play protocol is advanced enough for drivers to not be necessary). I've also attempted a so called ''clean'' video card driver install, but this doesn't work either. Any other ideas on what I can try? Thanks in advance for any help. |
