Display always drops into power save

    Display always drops into power save


    New computer, not even 24hrs old. Got my BF-BC2 game installed and patched up but display drops into power save when i try to start playing. The game is still running, i can here it and everything, I just can't get the monitor to come out of Power save mode.Any idea's or tips would be very appreciated


    Model - Dell XPS 8300

    OS Windows 7 Home Premium, 64Bit

    CPU Intel Core i7-2600 processor(8MB Cache, 3.4GHz)

    Memory 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz

    Graphics CardATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5

    Monitor Displays Dell ST2420L HD LCD

    Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080

    Hard Drives 1TB - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s, 16MB Cache

    Try this: Start/Control Panel/System and Security/Power Options....Check High Performance...see if that helps...
