    problem in resolution of windows 7 for samsung lcd monitor B2030


    i am unable to change the resolution of my monitor to 1600x900....... it is currently 1024x768...... plzz help me!!!!!!!!!! i tried wit powerstrip, by going in display profiles>configure>advanced timing options> but after this the word "custom resolutions" is written in grey, and i am unable to click on it.... i tried using the .inf file posted in one of the threads in this site, but it didnt run.....
    plzzzzzzzzzzzzz suggest me a way to get my problem solved...... i wud be grateful to you.......

    sry didnt understand you........ my problem is same as that of above people..... i am unable to set 1600x900 resolutuion for my screen..... my pc isnt displaying this reolution. how to solve it???

    priyansh what kind of monitor do you have, you have to have a graphics card or nothing would show on your monitor. It may be built-in, but you have one.
    Try right-click on an empty place on your desk top See step 1 in photo.
    Step two click the arrow and see if your resolution is listed, if so click it, apply, OK.

    that is wat the problem is!!!!!! the resolution 1600x900 is not being displayed in that menu!!!!!! wat to do for it.... i am using 8mb vga card....... i do not have an additional graphics card.... it may be in buit, but i am not sure...... can adding an extra graphics card of 512mb solve the problem?????

    One question mark per question is enough.

    Connect your monitor with a D-sub Input (15 pin), it is a digital connection and should get your 1600X900 native resolution. This is your monitor page for support. I don't see any firmware listed for your monitor.

    Also read through this entire thread to see if any others' solutions will be of help.
